John Mellencamp Announces Australian and New Zealand Tour!
For the first time in 15 years, John Mellencamp will tour Australia and New Zealand with opening act Sheryl Crow. The 10-show trek starts on November 15 in Sandalford, AUS and winds down on December 7 in Christchurch, NZ. Possibly more dates will be added to the tour.
Mellencamp has sold nearly two million units in Australia over his career. He will perform his greatest hits as well as amazing new material from his brand new album "Life, Death, Love & Freedom." Along for the tour will be John's impressive touring band; Mike Wanchic - his veteran guitarist of 30 years, keyboardist Troye Kinnett, violinist Miriam Sturm, drummer Dane Clark, guitarist Andy York and bassist Jon Gunnell.
Crow will perform her hits including; "All I Wanna Do," and "If It Makes You Happy" plus feature material from her album "Detours" released earlier this year. There will also be a Sheryl Crow Live DVD released to coincide with the tour.
Also on the bill at the Australian indoor shows is Shane Nicholson. He first came to prominence with Brisbane band Pretty Violet Stain and then released two solo albums: "It's a Movie" in 2003 and "Faith & Science" in 2006. Most recently he co-wrote, performed and co-produced the No. 1 Australian album "Rattlin Bones" with his wife and music partner Kasey Chambers.
Tickets will go on sale to the public for all dates on July 7.

John's Official Fan Club, Club Cherry Bomb, is planning a presale for all 10 shows to begin on Wednesday, July 2nd at 12 PM AEST for PAID Club members. We will be offering standard tickets, there will be no Club VIP packages on this tour.
