Guitar String Bracelets Highlight Club Cherry Bomb’s Farm Aid Charity Auction

Bidding continues for Club Cherry Bomb’s 4th Annual Farm Aid Charity Auction, and among this year’s goodies is an exclusive: John Mellencamp Guitar String Bracelets.

Six bracelets made from Mellencamp’s acoustic and electric guitar strings are available. Bids start at $75 each.

The bracelets and the other memorabilia up for auction are all donated by Mellenheads (Mellencamp fans, for the uninitiated) and sent to John's for signing before being bid upon via email on the Club message board.

“From the small towns across the U.S., we, as John Mellencamp fans, pull together each year to help raise money in support of the Farm Aid cause and to assist the family farmer in providing the American people with safe, fresh and locally grown organic food,” explains Sharon C, coordinator of the Club's Farm Aid activities.

Said to be the only fan club that helps support Farm Aid, Club Cherry Bomb, along with the members of the Human Wheels Mailings list adds Sharon C, raised $2,500 from last year’s auction, up from $2,100 in 2006 and $1,615 in 2005.
