Special acoustic performance by John Mellencamp, live art auction and performance from Lily & Madeline Southern Indiana Center for the Arts (SICA) has announced the return of its Artful Affair gala fundraiser for Saturday, September 17, at Chateau de Pique Winery and Brewery in Seymour.

 The evening will include a special acoustic performance by John Mellencamp with live music from Lilly & Madeleine, a folk pop duo from Indianapolis, an art auction and refreshments.

 “After two years of COVID prohibiting us from having this event, which is our primary fundraiser, we are thrilled to bring it back and better than before,” said Speck Mellencamp, executive director of SICA. Tickets are available NOW at  A limited number of VIP meet and greet tickets will be available for $250, general admission tickets for members will be $150 and non-members’ tickets will be $175.

 In addition to the music, there will be an art auction featuring works by Marvin Cherney, Alexander Winch, Silas Cheo, Speck Mellencamp and John Mellencamp.

“We’re looking forward to celebrating 30 years of SICA and raising money for a great cause!” Speck said. “This will definitely be a special event that you don’t want to miss.”

SICA was founded in 1991 to provide art education and enjoyment to the surrounding communities, both in a gallery and studio environment. The gallery is open 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and located at 2001 N. Ewing Street in Seymour. Visit and like/follow SICA on Facebook and Instagram.
