Darkland County, which launches a tour Oct. 10 in Bloomington, IN.
The limited tour, which plays cities in the Midwest and Southeast, is staged
by Alliance artistic director Susan V. Booth, who also helmed the 2012 Atlanta

10/10/2013 - John Mellencamp has had opportunities to make musicals. He could have made one like Mamma Mia that focused on his hits through the years. It would have likely been a huge success on Broadway. But instead he settled on a darker path, working with King on an adaptation of a ghost story close to his hometown.

American Art on November 3, 2013 will feature some 40 oil paintings (some never before seen by the public), and is the artist’s first art museum exhibition. The Tennessee State Museum in Nashville, presented Mellencamp’s first major museum exhibition last year.
